Privacy Notice

Maison D'or Interiors LLC ("Maison D'or", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information you provide through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — PDPL).

1. What we collect

• Enquiry data — name, email, phone, project type, location, budget range, message.
• Business enquiries — company name, contact person, trade licence reference (collected later, only by the appointed contractor).
• Account data (contractors only) — email, hashed password, company details.
• Technical data — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring URL.

2. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and quote your project (lawful basis: contract / legitimate interest).
• To match verified leads with approved contractors on our portal (lawful basis: contract).
• To improve the website and our services (lawful basis: legitimate interest, with analytics cookies only if you consent).
• To meet legal, accounting and Dubai Municipality / Trakhees requirements where applicable.

3. Sharing

We share enquiry details only with the contractor you are matched with, and with service providers we rely on (hosting, email delivery, analytics) under written data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from last contact, or longer where required for tax, regulatory or contractual reasons. Contractor accounts are kept while active and for 12 months after closure.

5. International transfers

Some processors are based outside the UAE / EEA. Where this is the case we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved under GDPR and PDPL.

6. Your rights

You can request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the basis).
• Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office or your local EU supervisory authority.

7. Security

Data is stored in encrypted form, access is role-based, and our database enforces row-level security so contractors only see leads assigned to them.

8. Changes

We will post any material changes to this notice on this page and update the "last updated" date above.
